Official Shires Equestrian $500 Shopping Spree Giveaway Rules & Regulations 

NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN.  PURCHASE WILL NOT INCREASE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING.  

1. Eligibility – Only open to legal residents of the 50 United States and the District of Columbia, who are at least 18 years of age or the age of majority in their state of residence, whichever is greater at the time of entry.  Void where prohibited by law.  This promotion is governed by US law and is subject to all applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations.  Employees of Shires Equestrian Inc. and its affiliates, subsidiaries, parents, advertising, promotion and fulfillment agencies and members of the immediate family or household of each, are not eligible to participate.  Immediate family member is defined as a parent, sibling or any person residing in the same household as an employee. 
2. Conditions of Participation – Further required information may include, but is not limited to Contestant’s name, date of birth, phone number, mailing address, social security number.  Failure to provide necessary and truthful information may result in disqualification of the entrant and forfeiture of any awarded prizes.   
3. Period – Giveaway begins on August 27th 8:00 AM EST and ends on August 31st 5:00 PM EST.  Submissions will be accepted beginning August 27th 8:00 AM EST through August 31st 5:00 EST.  All entries must be received by 5:00 PM EST on August 31st 2025.  Winner will be notified by 5:00 PM EST on September 3nd 2025. 
4. Entry – Giveaway must be entered by completing the following entry from https://shop.shiresequestrian.com/pages/500-shopping-spree-giveaway.  Entry must fulfill all giveaway requirements, as specified, to be eligible to win a prize.  Entries that are incomplete or do not adhere to the rules or specifications may be disqualified at the sole discretion of Shires Equestrian Inc.  One entry per person will be accepted during the giveaway. 
5. Prizes – One $500 credit to www.shop.shiresequestrian.com will be awarded.  Actual/appraised value may differ at time of prize award.  The specifics of the prize shall be solely determined by Shires Equestrian Inc.  No cash or other prize substitution will be permitted.  Prize is nontransferable.  Prizes cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer.  All expenses, including without limitation any and all federal, state and/or local taxes, and costs associated with acceptance and use of prize not set forth in these rules shall be the sole responsibility of the winner. 
6. Odds of Winning – Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received. 
7. Winner Selection and Notification – Winner will be announced on September 3rd, 2025.  Winner will be selected at random under the supervision of Shires Equestrian Inc.  Winner will be notified by email within approximately 48 hours of the end of the giveaway period.  Winner’s name (first name, first initial of last name, city and state) may be announced on the Shires Equestrian North America Facebook & Instagram page.  Shires Equestrian shall have no liability for the winner’s failure to receive notices due to spam, junk e-mail or other security settings or for the winner’s provision of incorrect or otherwise non-functioning contact information.  If the winner cannot be contacted after reasonable effort, is deemed ineligible, or fails to claim the prize within 72 hours of the first attempted notification, prize may be forfeited, and an alternate Winner will be selected at random.  Any additional prize details will be supplied to the Winner following notification.  ANY VIOLATION OF THESE OFFICIAL RULES BY THE WINNER (at Shires Equestrian Inc.’s sole discretion) WILL RESULT IN WINNER’S DISQUALIFICATION AS WINNER OF THE SWEEPSTAKES, AND ALL PRIVELAGES AS WINNER WILL BE IMMEDIATELY TERMINATED. 
8. General – A potential winner may be required to sign and return a Warranty of Eligibility and Liability Release and Publicity Release, prior to receiving their prize.  In the event of noncompliance, the potential winner may be disqualified, and an alternate winner selected at Shire Equestrian Inc.’s sole discretion.  By entering, participants agree to be bound by the official rules and the decisions of Shires Equestrian Inc. (including but not limited to eligibility determinations) which are final and legally binding in all respects; agree to release Shires Equestrian Inc. and its employees and agents from any and all liability, loss, damage or injury resulting from participation in this giveaway or awarding, receipt, possession use and/or misuse of any prize awarded herein and acknowledge that Shires Equestrian Inc. and its employees and agents have neither made nor are in any manner responsible for liable for any warranty, representation, or guarantee, express or implied, in fact or in law, relative to any prize including, but not limited to , its quality, mechanical condition or fitness for a particular purpose; consent to use of his/her name, photograph, likeness and/or any other content or material contained in a participant’s giveaway entry for advertising and promotional purposes without additional compensation, unless prohibited by law; to be contacted by Shires Equestrian Inc. via e-mail, postal mail, and telephone; and to become part of Shires Equestrian Inc.’s print and e-mail database. 
9. Terms & Conditions – Shires Equestrian Inc. reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the giveaway should virus, bug, non-authorized human intervention, fraud, or other cause beyond Shires Equestrian Inc.’s control corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, or proper conduct of the giveaway.  In such case, Shires Equestrian Inc. may select the winner from all eligible entries received prior to and/or after (if appropriate) the action taken by Shires Equestrian Inc.  Shires Equestrian Inc reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to disqualify any individual who tampers or attempts to tamper with the entry process or the operation of the giveaway or website or violates these Terms & Conditions.  Shires Equestrian Inc has the right, in its sole discretion, to maintain the integrity of the giveaway, to void votes for any reason, including but not limited to: multiple entries from the same user from different IP addresses; multiple entries from the same computer in excess of that allowed by giveaway rules; or the use of bots, macros, scripts, or other technical means for entering.  Any attempt by an entrant to deliberately damage any website or undermine the legitimate operation of the giveaway may be a violation of criminal and civil laws.  Should such attempt be made, Shires Equestrian Inc reserves the right to seek damages to the fullest extent permitted by law. 
10. Limitation of Liability – By participation in this giveaway and/or accepting any giveaway prizes that you may be awarded, you agree to release and hold harmless Shires Equestrian Inc. and its subsidiaries, affiliates, advertising and promotion agencies, partners, representatives, agents, successors, assigns, employees, officers, and directors, collectively the “Indemnified Parties” form any liability, illness, injury, death, loss, litigation, claim, or damage that may occur, directly or indirectly, whether caused by negligence or not, from: such entrant’s participation in the giveaway and/or his/her acceptance, possession, use, or misuse of any prize or any portion thereof; technical failures of any kind, including but not limited to the malfunction of any electrical, mechanical or other equipment; the unavailability or inaccessibility of any transmissions, telephone or internet service; unauthorized human intervention in any part of the entry process or the giveaway; electronic or human error in the administration of the giveaway or the processing of entries.  By participating in the giveaway and/or accepting any prize that you may be awarded, you agree to fully indemnify each Indemnified Party from any and all such claims by third parties without limitation. 
11. Disputes – Except where prohibited, each entrant agrees that any and all disputes, claims and causes of action arising out of or in connection with this Sweepstakes, or any prizes awarded, shall be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action, and any judicial proceeding shall take place exclusively, before a Court, federal or state, located in New Hampshire; any and all claims, judgements, and awards shall be limited to actual out-of-pocket costs incurred, including costs associated with entering this giveaway, but in no event attorney’s fees; and under no circumstances will entrant be permitted to obtain awards for, and entrant hereby waives all rights to claim punitive incidental, special, and consequential damages, and any other damages, including actual out-of-pocket expenses, and any and all rights to have damages multiplied or otherwise increased.  All issues and questions concerning the construction, validity, interpretation and enforceability of these Official Rules, or the rights and obligations of entrant and Shires Equestrian Inc. in connection with this giveaway shall be governed by, and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of New Hampshire, without giving effect to any choice of law or conflict of law rules or provisions (whether the State of New Hampshire or any other jurisdiction), that would cause the application of the laws of any jurisdiction other than those of the State of New Hampshire. 
12. Privacy Policy – Entries and all information included on entries are subject to the Privacy Policy stated on Shires Equestrian Inc’s website.

14. Acceptance – Entrants will be deemed to have accepted and agreed and to be bound by these Rules & Regulations by participating in the Sweepstakes.
