Pelham & Kimblewick Bits

Pelham bits aim to combine the action associated with a double bit in one bit. It can either be used with roundings or with double reins to encourage refinement.

The main difference between the Kimblewick bit and the rest of the Pelham family of bits is that it only uses one rein.

Pelhams and Kimblewicks are generally quite severe and should only be used by experienced riders.
